Pandora
Thanks to Dave, I learned about the music genome project on www.pandora.com. For those of you who haven't heard of it, you basically type in an artist you like, and the website creates you a radio station of similar sounding artists (and a lot that you've never heard of before). It's a cool way to find new artists that you might like.
I highly suggest giving it a try. You can select whether you like or dislike the artists on your station.

SWEEEET ....thanks for the info!
whoa...i've tried last.fm, which was good, but this is MUCH better! the fact that you don't have to install anything is nice too!
